Craft Together Terms and Conditions

Effective date: August 21, 2026
Last updated: August 21, 2026

These Terms and Conditions (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Craft Together website, the Craft Together iOS application, and related features, content, subscriptions, and services (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are provided by Colwood Craft, LLC, doing business as Craft Together ("Craft Together," "we," "us," or "our").

Please read these Terms carefully. By downloading, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. Who May Use Craft Together

Craft Together is designed for parents, guardians, caregivers, teachers, and other adults who plan and supervise family craft activities. You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement to use the Services. If you use Craft Together for a family, classroom, group, or organization, you represent that you have authority to make the relevant decisions and provide any required permissions.

Children should use Craft Together only with the involvement and supervision of a parent, guardian, or other responsible adult. Children may not independently create accounts, purchase subscriptions, submit support requests, or use shopping features.

2. These Terms and Apple's Standard EULA

The Craft Together application is licensed, not sold. Your license to use the iOS application is also subject to Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the "Apple Standard EULA") and the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions applicable to your App Store account.

These Terms supplement the Apple Standard EULA and govern Craft Together's Services, content, subscriptions, family craft features, website, and relationship with you. If these Terms conflict with the Apple Standard EULA on a matter governed by that agreement, the Apple Standard EULA controls to the extent of the conflict. Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for providing or supporting the Services except as expressly stated in Apple's own agreements.

3. Limited License

Subject to these Terms and the Apple Standard EULA, Craft Together grants you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Services for your own noncommercial family, caregiving, classroom, or educational purposes.

You may print or save craft instructions for those permitted purposes. You may not reproduce or distribute a substantial portion of the Craft Together catalog; sell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit the Services or their content; remove proprietary notices; create a competing database from the Services; or copy, reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Services except where applicable law expressly permits the activity.

4. Accounts, Devices, and Sync

You may use certain features without creating an account. Sign in with Apple may be used for account features, subscription access, purchase restoration, and optional iCloud sync.

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device, Apple account, and Craft Together access.
  • Providing accurate information and keeping it reasonably current.
  • Activity conducted through your device or account.
  • Promptly notifying us if you believe your account or information has been accessed without authorization.

Local project data may remain only on a particular device. If you enable iCloud sync, family project data may sync through the private iCloud account active on that device. Your Sign in with Apple identity and the iCloud account used for project sync may be different Apple accounts. You are responsible for confirming that you are using the intended accounts before enabling sync, deleting data, replacing a device, or sharing a device.

5. Craft Together Pro Subscriptions

Craft Together may offer automatically renewing subscriptions, free trials, or promotional offers through the App Store. The price, billing period, trial period, and features included in an offer are displayed before purchase and are incorporated into these Terms.

By purchasing a subscription, you authorize Apple to charge your App Store account at the displayed price and frequency. Unless canceled, a subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple Account subscription settings. To avoid renewal, cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current subscription period or within any other period Apple specifies for your region.

Apple processes subscription payments, cancellations, refunds, taxes, billing disputes, and payment credentials under Apple's terms and applicable law. Craft Together does not receive your full payment card details. Deleting the application, deleting a Craft Together account record, signing out, or turning off iCloud sync does not cancel an App Store subscription.

Trial and promotional eligibility is determined by Apple. If a trial converts to a paid subscription, Apple will charge the displayed subscription price unless you cancel before the conversion deadline. Prices and available plans may change. Apple will provide any notice or obtain any consent required for an App Store price change.

Subscription features may require a supported device, internet access, a valid App Store entitlement, or Sign in with Apple and iCloud for sync-specific features.

6. Family Craft and Safety Responsibilities

Craft Together is a planning and inspiration tool. Craft descriptions, age ranges, difficulty labels, material lists, time estimates, supervision notes, substitutions, and images are general guidance. They cannot account for every child's abilities, health, behavior, environment, or household circumstances.

A responsible adult must review each activity before beginning and provide active, age-appropriate supervision. You are responsible for deciding whether an activity, material, tool, or instruction is appropriate for your situation. In particular:

  • Follow all product labels, manufacturer instructions, warnings, and recall notices.
  • Closely supervise scissors, craft knives, needles, hot glue, ovens, heat sources, electrical items, chemicals, paints, adhesives, magnets, batteries, cords, and small parts.
  • Check for choking, strangulation, burn, cut, ingestion, allergy, toxicity, ventilation, fire, stain, and property-damage risks.
  • Use child-safe and nontoxic materials when appropriate and provide protective equipment and ventilation.
  • Keep unsafe tools and materials out of children's reach.
  • Stop an activity if conditions become unsafe or a participant is uncomfortable.

Craft Together does not provide medical, developmental, occupational-therapy, educational, product-safety, or other professional advice. If you have a safety, allergy, developmental, accessibility, or health concern, consult an appropriate professional before beginning an activity. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or poison control.

7. Craft Content and AI-Generated Images

We work to make craft content practical and useful, but we do not guarantee that every instruction, image, measurement, substitution, material recommendation, time estimate, or availability statement is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for a particular user.

Some craft illustrations may be created or supplemented using artificial intelligence. AI-generated images are visual references, not photographs or guarantees of a finished result. They may contain inaccurate, unrealistic, or inconsistent details. Always follow the written instructions, use your own judgment, and apply the safety responsibilities in these Terms.

We may correct, revise, replace, or remove craft content at any time.

8. Your Project Content

Craft Together may allow an adult to add child profile information, favorites, progress, plans, supply information, ratings, notes, photos, videos, memories, support messages, and other content ("Your Content"). You retain any ownership rights you have in Your Content.

You give Craft Together a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, reproduce, transmit, and otherwise process Your Content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the features you choose to use, comply with law, or protect the Services and their users. This license ends when the relevant content is deleted from systems under our control, subject to reasonable technical, legal, security, and backup limitations described in our Privacy Policy.

You represent that you have the right and any necessary permission to provide Your Content. Do not submit content that is unlawful, infringing, abusive, dangerous, or that unnecessarily includes sensitive personal information. Do not submit photos, videos, or personal information about a child unless you are authorized to do so.

Craft Together does not claim a right to publicly display private family memories or use private family photos or videos for advertising or AI training.

9. Ratings, Feedback, and Support

If you submit a craft rating, issue report, suggestion, or other feedback, we may use it to operate, troubleshoot, and improve Craft Together. We may use general ideas and suggestions without restriction or compensation, but we will handle personal information included in a submission according to our Privacy Policy.

Do not include confidential, medical, financial, or other sensitive information in free-form ratings, reports, or support messages.

10. Shopping Links and Affiliate Disclosure

Craft Together may provide optional shopping lists, Amazon links, or cart-handoff features. These tools are offered for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement, warranty, or guarantee regarding a product, seller, price, availability, delivery, safety, or suitability.

Craft Together participates in affiliate programs and may earn a commission from qualifying purchases. This does not increase the price charged by the retailer solely because you used our link.

When you open a retailer link or cart handoff, you leave Craft Together and transact directly with the retailer. The retailer's terms, privacy notice, return policy, product terms, and safety information apply. Review the selected products and quantities before purchasing. Craft Together is not the seller and does not receive your retailer payment credentials or complete order history.

11. Third-Party Services

The Services may depend on or link to third-party services such as Apple, iCloud, RevenueCat, Amazon, hosting providers, email providers, analytics providers, and AI service providers. Third-party services are governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Their availability, content, pricing, and performance are outside Craft Together's control.

We are not responsible for third-party services except to the extent responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded. Your use of a third-party service is at your discretion and may require a separate account or agreement.

12. Acceptable Use

You may not:

  • Use the Services unlawfully, fraudulently, or to harm another person.
  • Attempt to bypass subscriptions, access controls, security checks, rate limits, or feature restrictions.
  • Probe, scan, disrupt, overload, or introduce malware into the Services.
  • Scrape, harvest, or systematically extract the catalog, website, or user information except with our written permission.
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your authority.
  • Submit content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or other rights.
  • Use the Services or their content to train a competing model, build a competing catalog, or provide a competing commercial service without written permission.
  • Use shopping or support features in an abusive, automated, or misleading manner.

We may investigate misuse and take reasonable steps to protect the Services and users.

13. Ownership

The Services, including their software, design, text, craft catalog, arrangement, graphics, branding, logos, and other content supplied by Craft Together, are owned by Colwood Craft, LLC or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license expressly granted in these Terms, no rights are transferred to you.

"Craft Together" and associated branding may not be used in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, or affiliation without written permission.

If you believe content in the Services infringes your intellectual-property rights, contact support@crafttogether.app with sufficient information for us to review the claim.

14. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect information. By using the Services, you acknowledge that you have reviewed the Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy is not a waiver of any privacy right provided by applicable law.

15. Service Availability and Changes

We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or content. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, compatible with every device, or free from errors. Maintenance, outages, third-party service changes, legal requirements, or security events may affect availability.

If a change materially affects a paid subscription, we will provide notice or a remedy when required by applicable law or App Store rules.

You are responsible for maintaining copies of information you do not want to lose. Local data may be lost if an application or device is deleted, damaged, reset, replaced, or unavailable. Sync and backup systems are not guaranteed backup services.

16. Suspension and Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time. You may delete local project data or an eligible Craft Together account record using available in-app controls. Account deletion does not automatically cancel an App Store subscription or remove records maintained by Apple under Apple's policies.

We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe you have materially violated these Terms, created a security or legal risk, misused the Services, or if continued access is not reasonably possible. Where appropriate, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue.

Provisions that by their nature should survive termination—including ownership, disclaimers, limitations, dispute provisions, and accrued payment obligations—will survive.

17. Disclaimers

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." CRAFT TOGETHER DISCLAIMS IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AND ANY WARRANTY ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING OR USAGE OF TRADE.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES OR CRAFT CONTENT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, COMPLETE, SAFE FOR EVERY PARTICIPANT OR ENVIRONMENT, OR AVAILABLE AT ALL TIMES. THESE DISCLAIMERS DO NOT EXCLUDE WARRANTIES OR CONSUMER RIGHTS THAT CANNOT LAWFULLY BE EXCLUDED.

The Apple Standard EULA contains additional warranty provisions governing the licensed iOS application.

18. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, COLWOOD CRAFT, LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, MANAGERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, CRAFT TOGETHER'S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR CRAFT TOGETHER DURING THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM; OR (B) US $50.

These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be limited, which may include liability for fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or violation of non-waivable consumer rights, depending on applicable law. The Apple Standard EULA may provide additional rights or limitations relating to the licensed application.

19. International Users and Mandatory Consumer Rights

Craft Together is operated from the United States. The Services may not be appropriate or available in every location. You are responsible for following laws that apply to your use of the Services.

Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer rights that apply where you live. If you reside in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, Australia, Canada, or another jurisdiction with non-waivable consumer protections, you retain those protections. A governing-law, venue, disclaimer, or limitation provision in these Terms applies only to the extent permitted by your local law.

You may not use or export the Services in violation of United States export-control or sanctions laws or other applicable trade restrictions.

20. Governing Law and Disputes

Before filing a formal claim, you and Craft Together agree to make a reasonable, good-faith effort to resolve the issue informally. Send a written description of the issue and requested resolution to support@crafttogether.app. This requirement does not prevent either party from seeking urgent relief or filing within an applicable limitation period.

These Terms do not require mandatory arbitration and do not waive your right to participate in a class or representative proceeding where that right applies.

Except where mandatory local law provides otherwise, these Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the laws applicable at Colwood Craft, LLC's principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. An eligible claim may be brought in small-claims court. Other disputes may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction serving Colwood Craft, LLC's principal place of business, unless applicable consumer law allows or requires a different forum.

If you are a consumer outside the United States, you may also be entitled to bring a claim in the courts of your usual place of residence and rely on mandatory protections of that jurisdiction.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the Services, law, safety practices, or business operations. We will update the "Last updated" date when we make changes. If a change materially affects your rights, we will provide additional notice or request renewed agreement when required by law.

Changes apply prospectively from their stated effective date. If you do not agree to updated Terms, you must stop using the Services.

22. Miscellaneous

These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Apple Standard EULA, and any purchase terms displayed to you form the applicable agreement concerning the Services. If a provision is unenforceable, it will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them as part of a merger, reorganization, financing, sale of assets, or similar transaction, subject to applicable law.

Section headings are for convenience only. The word "including" means "including without limitation."
